Meet Dave
Member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
Dave is a proud life member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., initiated in Spring 1986 through the Nu Kappa Chapter at Long Island University’s C.W. Post Campus. His lifelong commitment to brotherhood, service, and community has shaped the way he shows up for the people he loves.
In the summer of 2021, Dave met Méta during his chapter’s post-COVID wellness bike ride; two paths crossing through a shared focus on health and renewal. What began as a simple connection grew into a partnership rooted in faith in God and grounded in respect, balance, and shared purpose. Dave and Méta were married last July, building a life together marked by harmony, devotion, and the enduring bond of Dove Love.
Meet Nila
Member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
Nila is a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., initiated in Fall 2023 through the Beta Iota Chapter at Spelman College. The daughter of Dave and Méta, she continues a Blue and White family legacy rooted in scholarship, service, and sisterhood. As an English major, Nila brings thoughtfulness, creativity, and a love of storytelling to everything she does.
Set to graduate in Spring 2026, Nila represents the next generation of leadership and service. As Méta’s Zeta legacy, she strengthens a meaningful family bond grounded in purpose and excellence, extending a tradition that spans both family and community.

Meet Leia
Amicette of Kappa Epsilon Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
Leia is Méta’s niece and a proud member of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. family. She began her blue and white journey in 2020 as a Pearlette with the Kappa Epsilon Zeta Chapter, taking her first steps in service, leadership, and sisterhood at a young age.
Continuing to grow within the Zeta legacy, Leia recently became an Amicette this fall, further deepening her connection to community, mentorship, and the values that unite generations. Her journey reflects the power of early engagement, encouragement, and the enduring strength of family and sisterhood.
